On the heels of Pizaro’s Pizza opening in Montrose and Dallas-based Cane Rosso coming to Houston, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria announces it's expanding its reach into the Bayou City. The iconic New York-based pizzeria currently has three locations outside the city limits (The Woodlands, Sugar Land and Katy) but will open it's fourth Houston-area outpost and the city's first at CityCentre.
Specializing in New York-style pies baked in coal burning brick ovens, Grimaldi’s will set up shop in the 3,500-square-foot space below Houston Texans Grille, which will also include patio seating. In a statement, Joey Ciolli, Chief Executive Officer of Grimaldi's Pizzeria, notes " that CityCentre is the first of many we are planning." Grimaldi's is expected to open the west Houston location this summer offering a variety of pizzas, salads and desserts.
