Working in fast food comes with lots of risks. Employees have to keep an eye out for thieves, thieves with guns and the occasional brawls. Add the growing list of cons, people who randomly burst into the restaurant high on drugs and scaring the living daylights out of everyone.

This scenario played out this morning in Houston's East End around 5 a.m., according to KHOU. A man in his 20's or 30's terrorized employees at McDonald's on Interstate 45 and South Wayside, after causing mayhem at a nearby Conoco and Exxon during a drug-fueled rage. "He ran back and started grabbing on the employees, like bear hugging them," recalls a worker at the burger chain who trapped the suspect in a bathroom. The man then "hurled himself through the door, cutting himself from head to toe," reports KHOU.

The terror concluded at neighboring Chick-fil-A where workers were prepping for the breakfast rush. It was there the suspect is alleged to have smashed his head through the glass door to gain entry inside, leaving workers frantically scrambling to the freezer for cover. Once police and paramedics arrived on he scene to check on the collapsed man, the suspect charged the officers who tased the man. The suspect was taken to a hospital for an evaluation while in custody.
