EaDo's, the latest east side bar and restaurant concept is set to open mid summer (possibly mid-July) and will feature a full bar and Tex-Mex/Texas barbecue fare. According to their site, which went live yesterday, EaDo's culinary inspiration is from the "eclectic community," around them. Expect cocktails with fresh juices, street-style tacos, small bites, dips and of course, queso influenced by their resident Texas BBQ Pitmaster. The restaurant, which is still in the renovation stages, is in the shadow of the George R. Brown on Rusk St. in the former Mojeaux’s Louisiana Drinkery location beside the recently opened Ahh, Coffee (2018 Rusk). [EHOU]
