MONTROSE — Shawn Bermudez (Stone's Throw, Royal Oaks) and Matthew Pak's joint venture, The Burger Joint is hoping for an August opening date. The burger-centric restaurant took over Little Big's address former Montrose address across from BB's Cafe. Ellie Sharp reported in April the spot will serve "freshly prepared burgers," and the menu will also offer "sausages, hot dogs, and other sandwiches in addition to hot and cold sides such as macaroni salad, potato salad, house chili, onion rings, and possibly even a signature mac 'n' cheese."
