BRENHAMBlue Bell fans there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Sid Bass, a prominent  Texas businessman, has recently become an investor in the creamery. Fans of the Texas-based treat are hopeful his backing will ensure the swift return of Blue Bell ice cream products back to the market. It's been a tough summer for all of us. [abc13.com]

FIRST WARD Holler Brewery Co., is very first retail tenant to sign with the Silos at Sawyer Yards for the future Artist Alley project space. The brewery, from John and Kathryn Holler, is yet to acquire all permits necessary, but if all goes smoothly plans to open include a small-batch production facility and tasting room.
