Velvet Taco Goes Late Night; Houston Restaurant Week Now Open for Reservations

WASHINGTON CORRIDOR — Velvet Taco opened its doors a few weeks back, and now they've upped their game with late-night hours. Get your taco fix until 12:00 a.m. Sunday throughTuesday, 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday and 2:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. And don't forget their WTF (Weekly Taco Feature); this week, you've got until Sunday to sample the Beach Body Chicks a concoction of rotisserie chicken salad with crisp apples, toasted macadamia nuts, and dried cranberries, topped with locally sourced micro greens. More than 200 restaurants are participating in the month-long, pre-fixe menu fundraiser, with proceeds benefitting the Houston Food Bank.
