EAST END — EaDo's grand opening party is set for July 31, the bar and restaurant concept is presently in their soft-opening stages and features a full bar with Tex-Mex/Texas barbecue fare. Expect cocktails with fresh juices, street-style tacos, small bites, dips and of course, queso influenced by their resident Texas BBQ Pitmaster. EaDo's is located on Rusk St. in the former Mojeaux's Louisiana Drinkery beside the recently opened Ahh, Coffee (2018 Rusk). [EaterWire]

MONTROSE Uchi is launching a new vegetarian menu to be added to their list of sushi offerings. The menu will be available the third Tuesday of every month, and will feature Uchi's expected creative standard with the restaurant's Japanese influences using locally-sourced ingredients. Chef Kaz Edwards told Marcy de Luna for Zagat, "We see veggie night as a way to highlight our beautiful produce and showcase it as the star of the dish instead of just a component." The new menu is certainly making a case to switch Meatless Mondays to Tuesdays. [Zagat]

MUSEUM DISTRICT —  MF Sushi is now officially open, and announced via Facebook they finally received their liquor license. The restaurant initially expected as of July 15, BYOB would be the continued option for alcoholic beverages, but by July 17 they received their liquor license. With or without MF Sushi's Leon Pham dolling out drinks, it's exciting news to hear the restaurant is back, albeit in a new location. [EaterWire]
