Opening Soon: Southern Goods and Treadsack Concepts

Southern Goods is rumored to be opening very soon, possibly by next week. The aptly named southern-style Heights spot recently posted they're hiring on Facebook, and with their presently sold-out preview dinner being held Thursday, August 7, all signs point to a smooth opening.

Treadsack is priming for not one, but three restaurant openings very soon. The Heights-based company recently posted on their Facebook they're looking for all front of house positions for  Hunky-Dory Tavern, Bernadine's, and Foreign Correspondents. They launched a slick website to go with the hiring announcement touting "community, quality, hospitality, education and fun," as their core values. And with a growing list of successful and incredibly hip restaurants and bars already under the Treadsack tent (D&T Drive Inn, Down House) and with Chris Cusak (owner) and Joey Treadway (owner) at the brand's helm, these three new concepts are already generating quite a bit of buzz.
