HOUSTON — Whataburger is celebrating their 65 year milestone since opening on Aug. 8, 1950, at their first location on Ayers Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. To mark this momentous occasion the top-rated burger empire is thanking customers with an offer for a free Whatasize on all Whatameals. MONTROSE — Brick and Spoon have closed their Creole-style restaurant. The restaurant, making it to the two year mark replaced the former Bocados. Brick and Spoon representative confirmed the closure to writer Eric Sandler and said the company is looking for a new location. [CultureMap]

MONTROSE — Second Season winner of Project Runway and local celebrity, Chloe Dao is designing the new aprons for Underbelly. Chris Shepherd posted on his official Facebook page a photo of Dao fitting front of house and back of house aprons with grey straps and dark toned cloth. [Facebook]
