From the owners behind the Cottage Grove neighborhood bar Down the Street, is their new sister bar (with a similar tongue-in-cheek name) Around the Corner situated in the Warehouse District in a restored historic home. UPDATE: September 11, beginning at 4 p.m., will be their soft-opening. Around the Corner will feature a full bar and this evening will launch Karbach's Krunkin' Pumpkin Ale for the season. They are also partnering with their neighbor, 8th Wonder Brewery to feature the Pharmhouse Agave Saison in a specialty cocktail.
Sneak peek shots of the bar via Facebook show the renovated space is a mixture of industrial design with rustic touches and elegant art deco influences. There's a large front porch and plenty of parking.
