The stucco and concrete building located on 4520 Washington Ave. was built in 1937 as a fire station and remained in service until it was relocated to T.C. Jester and Larkin in 1995. Most recently the space had been a pizza restaurant dubbed Fire Station 11, but now it appears to be closed and is awaiting yet another reincarnation.
A call to the number listed via Firestation 11's Facebook page goes directly to the property's manager, not to anyone affiliated with the actual restaurant. According to the property manager of the building, Firestation 11 is no longer occupying the space and a new restaurant group will be taking over. Additionally, Opentable lists the restaurant as "offline," meaning no reservations can be taken at this moment.
