The latest concept from chef Pak Tsuisushi, Ka Sushi, had a soft opening last night. The north Heights sushi restaurant, situated in the same shopping center as Fat Cat Creamery and Hugs and Donuts, was expected to open in March, but it's looking like an official opening will occur very soon this September.
Ka has been posting tidbits of their menu via Instagram and Facebook to further stoke the anticipation for their creative fare. Menu items such as, hamachi pops (hamachi thinly sliced, rolled and topped with candied jalapeño and citrus) and the Kush roll (smoked salmon, smoked escolar, caramelized cream cheese) are a few of the sneak peeks they've shared with followers.
