JuiceLand's first Houston location of the Austin-based juice bar will host its grand opening celebration on Saturday, January 16 and offer half off all drinks for the entire day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Additionally, proceeds from sales of the monthly special "Go -J," made with papaya, mango, peach, orange juice, goji, and lemon, will benefit Houston non-profit, Child Advocates. As the first location in Texas outside of Austin, JuiceLand shares a building with community-driven yoga studio Black Swan Yoga and is located on the Heights Hike and Bike Trail; perfect to help Houstonians kick off the New Year with a healthy start.
Guests at the Houston location can enjoy the beloved JuiceLand menu, which is consistent through all 16 locations, including JuiceLand's store in Brooklyn, New York. Named one of the "Best Juice Bars" in the country by Food & Wine magazine, sample menu items include favorites such as the Originator with fresh apple juice, banana, blueberry, cherry, peanut butter, rice protein, spirulina, and flax oil; Bambaataa with fresh pineapple juice, banana, mango, hemp protein, coconut oil, spirulina, and raw almonds; and Vegetable Kingdom with fresh apple juice, carrot, beet, spinach, lemon, mango, cherry, and spirulina.
UPDATE (1/13/16): We've just learned that JuiceLand's grand opening just got sweeter. The first 200 people to show up on Saturday will receive a JuiceLand swag bag which will have a JuiceLand bandana, a half-price smoothie discount card, a sticker, a patch, a koozie and a 24oz reusable JuiceLand tumbler. The tumbler is special because it will grant the owner fifty cents off all smoothies for life when they bring it in to fill up!
