Montrose neighborhood favorite, Lowbrow, is now hiring a new executive chef. Chef Adam Martin has left the restaurant as of Monday January 18. While they are sad to see him leave the restaurant is already actively engaging in a search for a new chef.
Since being taken over by The Creek Group, they have revamped the menu and incorporated many more event-driven brunches, dinners and special events. They recently held a David Bowie tribute after his passing and of course they already have a sold-out monthly drag queen brunch which has made it's way to the Eater brunch heatmap.
Local talent take note: Lowbrow seems to be quite the launchpad for chefs. Chef Jason Kerr who concocted the Cheetos-fried oysters recently grabbed a spot on Food Network's Chopped, and his predecessor chef Rachel Merk went on to Alabama to become the executive chef of the restored Redmont Hotel restaurant.
