It’s officially fall, but Houston weather clearly hasn’t gotten the memo. It’s still going to be pretty warm this week, which makes the arrival of Juice Girl’s brand new ice cream shop particularly timely.

Juice Girl’s second outpost will softly open the doors this weekend so that Houstonians can get their first taste of the shop’s new menu of vegan ice creams. The second outpost will offer an expanded menu of juice flights, herbal lattes, and, of course, freshly pressed juice. A selection of prepared vegan meals will make their debut in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, you’ll be able to score Houston’s first organic vegan ice creams, each made with a nut milk base. Order by the scoop, or try one of Juice Girl’s sundaes, banana splits, and floats. Each day will offer a selection of rotating flavors like vanilla chai, chocolate covered cherry, and cinnamon.

Juice Girl owner Gretchen Todd tells Eater that the Montrose shop will open this weekend from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The shop will close to put on the finishing touches on Monday, and plans to open for good by next Thursday.
