If you’ve been looking for more places to sate your craving for Fritos Chili Mac & Cheese or “pillows of love,” The Union Kitchen’s newest location has officially made its Houston debut.
CultureMap reports that The Union Kitchen’s fourth outpost will kick open the doors at 3542 Ella Boulevard today. The restaurant will occupy a newly-updated 5,000 square foot space complete with 200 seats in the dining room, a patio, and large private dining room.
The concept builds on the reputation that The Union Kitchen has staked as one of Houston’s best spots for a killer meal in an approachable, laid-back setting. “You can wear shorts and flip flops and still sit at a table in our dining room with a white tablecloth,” The Union Kitchen owner Paul Miller told CultureMap. “That’s the way I want everyone to feel.”
Much of the menu — 75% or more — will come from The Union Kitchen’s three other locations, in addition to specials that make sense for the neighborhood. Look forward to beer dinners and other collaborations, perhaps with TUK’s new neighbor Karbach Brewing.
The Union Kitchen, or TUK Ella for short, will be open today at 11 a.m. today for “limited lunch service” and will reopen at 4 p.m. for dinner.
