The Breakfast Klub has long been a favorite of Houstonians for morning fare any time of the day, and soon you’ll be able to enjoy the restaurant’s excellent breakfast offerings alongside Caribbean dishes.
The Houston Chronicle reports that Breakfast Klub owner Marcus Davis is currently developing a new restaurant in the former Green’s BBQ space at 5404 Alameda. The restaurant is in the earliest of stages, but Davis says that the as-yet-unnamed project will offer “two concepts at the same time” in the building that houses Signature Kafe.
Davis will open a Caribbean concept inspired by Reggae Hut Café, the Jamaican concept that sits just a few doors down on Alameda. According to Davis, the new concept will serve lunch, dinner, and (perhaps most importantly) drinks inspired by the islands.
The forthcoming Caribbean restaurant will open in the same space as Signature Kafe. The concept is set to make its debut in early 2017.
