Houston’s culinary scene is about to get a whole lot of attention. At 8 p.m. on Sunday, roving gourmand Anthony Bourdain will share his thoughts on the city’s culinary scene with the world via his CNN show Parts Unknown. And, of course, Houston is going to celebrate.

Starting at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Axelrad will play host to the city’s biggest Bourdain watchparty. The party kicks off at 5 p.m. on Sunday with live music, beer, and a whole lot of food. Most excitingly, though, many of the chefs and farmers featured in the Parts Unknown episode will be in attendance, which means you’ll be able to hang out with the city’s newest culinary stars before the crowds actually descend.

The farmers from Plant It Forward Farms, who hosted Bourdain for dinner, will provide dishes created with their freshly-grown produce, snacks from Himalaya will be on offer, and Harlem Road Texas BBQ (who apparently got a little facetime with Bourdain while he was in town) will be smoking up plenty of meats.

The real party kicks off at 5 p.m. with live music and food, but Axelrad will open early at 1:30 p.m. to make and distribute sandwiches for homeless people in Houston. Everyone who comes early to participate will be rewarded with a free beer when they arrive at the party later that afternoon.
