The wait is almost over.

If you’ve been missing the hearty, approachable fare formerly served at Relish Fine Foods, you’ve likely been anticipating the arrival of Relish Restaurant & Bar, the concept’s fully-realized big sister.

Fortunately, the wait is almost over. The Houston Chronicle reports that Relish Restaurant & Bar will officially make its debut next week. The restaurant was originally scheduled to open in September, but was, not surprisingly, pushed back thanks to the usual restaurant opening delays.

For those looking for familiar plates from Relish Fine Foods, you won’t find many on the menu at the new concept. With the bigger space, Chef Dustin Teague plans to offer a broader range of dishes, including a burger made with house-ground beef and a panzanella salad with fresh burrata. “We are keeping a few of our favorites such as our soups and chicken salads,” co-owner Addie D’Agostino told the Chron. “It will be so great being able to seat our guests and let them have a full dining experience."

For now, Relish will only open for lunch, with plans to add dinner and brunch service in the coming weeks. The doors officially open on Monday, October 10.
