The space that was once home to Chef Monica Pope’s Sparrow Bar + Cookshop has officially been transformed into a permanent parking spot for dishes from two Houston food trucks.

Swamplot reports that the building next door to the Breakfast Klub is now Winbern Mess Hall, a “truck to brick and mortar project” that will feature food from Korean-Mex food truck Oh My Gogi and Happy Endings, an Asian hot dog truck. In the future, the space will also house a bar.

The Oh My Gogi and Happy Endings trucks are still roving around Houston by all indications, but a post to the latter’s Facebook page indicates that Winbern Mess Hall will open in earnest at some point next week, and the hours will be announced via the truck’s Twitter page.

A representative for the concept tells Swamplot that the space is planning a “grander” opening at some point in December. Eater has reached out to Winbern Mess Hall for more details on the menu and the bar. Stay tuned.
