Restaurateur Lee Ellis Is Getting Into The Barbecue Business

Restaurateur Lee Ellis, of Lee’s Chicken & Donuts, Pi Pizza, and State Fare among other concepts, is a busy dude. Now he’s looking to put even more on his plate with the tentative announcement of a new concept.

A hawkeyed reporter at PaperCity notes a post to Ellis’ Instagram account announcing a concept called Ellis Brothers BBQ. At present, Ellis is staying mum about any major details on the concept, but we know it’s going to include this delicious-looking barbecue sandwich.

At this point, Ellis is only saying that Ellis Brothers BBQ is “coming soon,” but there’s a few things that we can observe thanks to the glory of hashtags. Apparently, his pitmaster will be named Chad, they’re going to be making housemade pickles, and brisket will definitely be on the menu.
