Thanks to the expansions of local spots like Juice Girl and new arrivals like Buda Juice, there’s plenty of options in Houston when you’re in need of a liquid nutrient fix. Now, a popular Californian chain is throwing its hat into the ring.

Announced via release, Nekter Juice Bar will open its first Houston outpost at 2800 Southwest Freeway in Greenway Plaza next year. This location is the first of many Nekter Juice Bars in the works — at present, between 12 and 15 locations are being considered in the Houston area.

Known for its cold-pressed juices and nut milks, plant enthusiasts can look forward to a menu of smoothies, juice cleanses, and acai bowls that can be customized to fit a variety of dietary preferences, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free options.

At least five of these locations are scheduled to debut in the next year and a half, meaning that the juice trend clearly shows no signs of slowing down. The chain currently operates 61 locations across the U.S., including outposts in Dallas and East Texas.

Nekter Juice Bar is set to make its debut in early 2017.
