For the unfamiliar, Dallas-based pizza chain Cane Rosso has a very strict, very anti-ranch dressing policy. You typically won’t find the South’s favorite sauce anywhere near these VPN-certified pies, but tomorrow, Cane Rosso is making a major exception.
To celebrate the end of this shitshow of a political season, on Election Day, Cane Rosso will serve two politically-themed pies for one day only. The Bad Hombre was conceived at the chain’s Austin outpost, and is topped with house mozzarella, smoked brisket, queso, roasted jalapenos, and caramelized onion.
They’ll also serve (of course) the Nasty Woman, a caramelized pineapple and jalapeno pie topped with prosciutto and bacon marmalade. Most notably, the Nasty Woman will be served with a side of — gasp! — jalapeno ranch. If you’re planning to watch the election results roll in on the couch with a bottle of wine, trust us, this ranch is worth actually leaving the house for.
However this election goes down tomorrow, there’s one thing we can all agree on — ranch dressing is the true winner in 2016.
