New American food truck Lady Liberty gets a stable address this December at laid-back bar Liberty Station located at 2101 Washington Ave. The menu will include the Sonoran Dog, a bacon-wrapped hot dog with baked beans, avocado, mayo and pico, the Give Me Death Burger with cheddar cheese, pork belly, and egg, crispy falafel topped with curry ratatouille, sliders, rellenos stuffed with pork and cheese, and rotating specials.
Chefs Daniel Ajtai and Jay Ybarra will be in the kitchen. Ybarra, most recently the sous chef at La Grange, has cooked professionally since 2004 in Los Angeles, Colorado, and Houston. Ajtai has developed menus for Cottonwood and most recently La Grange.
Liberty Station opens Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 2:00 a.m.
