Houston has plenty of great potions for curry of all kinds, but the newest addition to Space City’s curry scene offers plenty to get excited about.
The Houston Chronicle reports that Tiger Den & Aka Sushi House owner Mike Tran will debut his new curry house concept Night Market today at 9630 Clarewood. Chef Rikesh Patel will lead the kitchen, serving up dishes like green curry prawns, chicken boti, and coconut braised brisket.
Night Market isn’t the only concept that Tran is working on, either. Next year, he’ll open Ohn, a “Korean dive bar,” that will serve up Korean (duh) fare and plenty of soju, along with Lake Fish, a poke restaurant that will open next door to Tiger Den. Later, he’ll add a coffee shop and gyoza/ramen concept (both as yet unnamed) to his empire, along with potential openings at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Night Market kicks open the doors tonight for dinner service. Don’t be surprised if the crowds soon follow.
