Last December, we learned that King’s Court, a “British-Indian pub” fusion concept was headed to East Downtown. Now, it appears as if the long-awaited concept is readying to open its doors.

A photo posted to King’s Court Instagram account yesterday captioned “almost done!” indicates that the concept is inching closer to opening. Take your first glance at the spot's industrial interior below:

As far as the food as concerned, the menu juxtaposes classic Indian cuisine (tikka masala, palak paneer) with British pub fare (fish & chips, bangers & mash). A rooftop bar will be open for patrons to sip cocktails or beer from one of 24 taps featuring craft, domestic, and international brews.

King’s Court will open at 903 Hutchins at the corner of Walker Street, near BBVA Compass Stadium and The Warehouse Live. Eater has reached out to King’s Court for more information on the restaurant’s opening date, and will update this post with any new details.
