Scope Out UNC Superfan Chef Ryan Pera’s Final Four-Inspired Weekend Specials

The Coltivare and Revival Market chef is stoked.

Amy McCarthy is a staff writer at Eater.com, focusing on pop culture, policy and labor, and only the weirdest online trends.

He may be most well known for his killer restaurants, but Chef Ryan Pera is first and foremost a University of North Carolina Tar Heel. The Coltivare and Revival Market chef/owner (and cured meat enthusiast) has been a fixture in Houston’s food scene since 2003, but before that, he was an anthropology student at the University of North Carolina.

Pera graduated UNC in 1996, and that year, his Tar Heels weren’t quite so successful. Now that they’re in the Final Four – and you can bet that he’ll be in the stands cheering them on – Pera plans to celebrate in some pretty delicious ways back at Revival Market.

To cheer on his team, Pera has developed three Carolina-inspired specials that even fans rooting for Syracuse or Oklahoma can (begrudgingly) appreciate. Scope out the specials above, and get thee to Revival Market for these game day treats. They’re only available this weekend.
