KATY – Restless Palate, the highly anticipated health-focused concept from Eatsie Boys chef Matt Marcus has officially opened its doors. Lighter fare (like shrimp ceviche served with yucca chips) dominates the menu, with the occasional gut-bomb (cheesecake-stuffed chocolate cake) for times when only indulgence will do. The restaurant is open dinner at 4 p.m. until Sunday, and will officially open for lunch Monday, April 4 at 11 a.m. [EaterWire]

EXPANSIONS – Popular farm-to-table eatery Dish Society has announced plans to expand to a spot at the new Memorial Green mixed-use development. The third outpost of Dish Society will be its largest to date, with more than 4,000 square feet of indoor restaurant space. The Memorial Green location is expected to open in early 2017, with plans to add three additional locations by 2018. [CultureMap]

MIDTOWN – Midtown Korean spot Anju’s has shuttered just a few months after opening. A Yelp! QuickTip indicates that the concept is “closed permanently until further notice,” and a call to the restaurant indicated that the number has since been disconnected. Speculation on Reddit points to the location being too much of a hassle for Anju’s thanks to three recent break-ins at the property. [r/Houston]
