After yesterday’s record rainfall and flooding shut down Houston, people across the city are assessing damage caused by high waters to their homes and businesses. Among them is Lucky’s Pub in the Heights, which sustained significant flood damage over the past 24 hours.
Instagram user (and apparent Lucky’s Pub employee) Lisa Brewer posted a photo of the bar, which was all but submerged in water after yesterday’s rain.
Another employee of the popular Houston sports bar posted photos of Lucky’s interior damage, and it’s pretty extensive:
Other locations of Lucky's Pub appear to have weathered the flood without damage, but It’s safe to say that this location of Lucky’s Pub won’t be open today as it completes clean-up. Eater has reached out to the ownership for more details on the damage. Stay tuned for updates.
