A restaurant has no name...yet

But will the new location be a castle?

Fans of German cuisine are likely familiar with King’s Biergarten, the popular Austrian-German eatery in Pearland. If you’re tired of making the drive to the ‘burbs to indulge in bratwursts, schnitzel, and beer, you’re in luck – King’s Biergarten is headed to Houston proper.

Announced via release, King’s owner Johann Sitter and son Philipp Sitter are planning a brand new German eatery in the Heights. The concept, which does not yet have a name, will feature the same cuisine that transformed King’s Biergarten and Restaurant from a tiny 45-seat eatery into a massive biergarten that serves 15,000 sausage enthusiasts every month.

The new Sitter concept is expected to open in Fall 2016, at which time Johann "Hans" Sitter says that Houstonians can look forward to more bier and bratwursts when the new location is open.

In the meantime, you can always head to Pearland to sate those cravings and, perhaps, offer your suggestions for the restaurant’s name.
