On the heels of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ victory over the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals, Lebron James has plenty of reasons to be riding high. Fortunately for Houstonians, those reasons don’t just involve the Cavs’ success.
Announced via release, Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, a rapidly growing chain in which James is an investor and spokesman, will soon continue expanding its share of the Houston pizza market with a new location in Webster.
Described as a "modern-day pizza joint" with a "casually hip" vibe, the pies at Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza can be topped with a variety of gourmet toppings before being baked in a ripping hot oven for just 180 seconds.
James’ involvement in the pizza chain may be minimal, but he has filmed commercials for Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza and worked "undercover" in locations of the restaurant across the country, including Pasadena and Chicago. Who knows? Perhaps King James will be the one to top your gluten-free crust (yup, that’s available) with vegan cheese (also on offer).
Houston’s first Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza will open at 1507 West Bay Area Blvd. sometime in July.
