A tragic scene played out in the parking lot of Fuzzy’s Pizza’s Westheimer location yesterday afternoon. After a scuffle between two men, neither of whom have yet been identified, one was shot dead in front of the restaurant.
The Houston Chronicle reports that the altercation began as a shoving match at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, though no details have yet emerged as to what caused the conflict. The shooter, who remains at large, shot the victim in broad daylight before fleeing the scene with a female witness.
According to the Chronicle, the shooter’s description is as follows:
The suspected shooter is described as 20 or 21 years old. He was wearing a T-shirt and basketball shorts, according to police. [Police] said the suspect had a short Afro with rubber bands tied into it.
