Chicken tenders enthusiasts, rejoice: beloved Houston food truck Luv Me Tenders will officially start slinging its delicious, deep-fried wares at their brand new brick & mortar home next week.

A post to Jason “Big Sexy” Hill’s Facebook page announces the restaurant’s opening next week. Scope out his "breaking news" announcement below:

In May, it was reported that that Hill had teamed up with restaurant owner Cyrus Nasrto bring his locally famous fried chicken shack on wheels to a permanent home. The first Luv Me Tenders will open at Treadsack Restaurant Group’s Kipper Club Test Kitchen at 4400 Yale St.

For the uninitiated, Luv Me Tenders is known for its Bun B-approved strips of perfectly fried chicken served with a variety of dipping sauces. Those tenders can also be stuffed into a taco (like the El Jefe, topped with Mexican street corn) or piled onto a sandwich (like the Hot Mess, topped with guacamole and nacho cheese).

Luv Me Tenders kicks open the doors July 7. No word yet on whether the truck will remain in operation.
