Forget bubble waffles, rolled ice cream, or fancy latte art – rose cones are Houston’s hottest new food trend, or at least they will be when Amorino Gelato makes its debut on Thursday.

CultureMap Houston reports that the European gelato chain will open its first Houston location at 4444 Westheimer in the River Oaks District this week. There are currently 15 Amorino Gelato locations in the United States, including outposts in Las Vegas, New York, and Boston. The River Oaks outpost will be Houston’s first though, according to the local franchisee, not its last.

The chain is known for their perfectly formed "rose cones," where both the cone and "petals" of ice cream, each a flavor of your choosing, are shaped to resemble the flower. Don’t be surprised when you see these ridiculously picturesque cones on the feeds of every single Houston Instagrammer.

Also notable is the fact that many of Amorino Gelato’s offerings are gluten-free, dairy-free, and suitable for vegans, which means that pretty much everyone you know will be clamoring to try this brand new sweet shop.

Amorino Gelato officially opens the doors on Thursday, August 25.
