Over the past few years, Downtown Houston’s bar scene has improved dramatically, especially in terms of fancy cocktails. When it arrives in September, brand new bar Lilly & Bloom will be the neighborhood’s newest watering hole.

Located at 110 Main, Lilly & Bloom was planned for a mid-September opening, but as the Houston Press reports, construction on the bar’s home in the historic Raphael Building has pushed back the opening until “early October.” As the Press notes, the space was originally going to be home to a coffee bar called The Study, but the concept changed somewhere along the way.

No word yet on what exactly the cocktail program is going to look like, but a selection of wines and craft beers will be on offer. Eater has reached out to Lilly & Bloom for more details on the concept, including a concrete opening date, and will update this post with any new information.
