The rapidly growing restaurant scene in the Heights is only getting bigger. Just yesterday, Melange Creperie announced that it would open a brick and mortar outpost in the neighborhood, and now, a Montrose favorite has announced plans to hit the Heights next year.

The Houston Chronicle reports that The Burger Joint will open their second Houston outpost at 2002 N. Shepherd in the Heights. The newest location of the popular burger spot will feature an expanded patio and bigger dining room, which will provide plenty of space for chowing down on kimchi-topped burgers.

Also new for this location is a full bar of booze, an exciting announcement considering just how well burgers and whiskey pair together. The Joint’s usual menu of fries & shakes will, of course, be on offer as well.

The Burger Joint is expected to open its doors in the Heights by the end of Spring 2017.
