For the last 11 years, Kiran’s has been one of Houston’s favorite destinations for killer Indian fare. That all changed when Chef Kiran Verma decided to close up shop at the restaurant’s original location on Westheimer last year to make the move to a new home at Levy Park. Now, Verma is back, and perhaps better than ever.

The brand new and improved Kiran’s made its debut on Wednesday, January 18 at 2925 Richmond Ave, and will no doubt be one of the hottest reservations in Houston for a while. “In these last nine months, myself and my team have been designing, creating and executing a menu that reflects a thoughtful approach to an elevated Indian dining experience, keeping texture, flavor, color and lightness in mind,” said Verma in a statement.

A peek at the menu for Kiran’s is a pretty good indication that Verma has achieved her goal. In addition to a selection of upscale appetizers like pan-seared foie gras with fig chutney and black truffle lobster bisque, you’ll also find a killer selection of Indian street foods like crab & corn samosas, dahi paneer kebabs, and pani puri scented with mint-tamarind water alongside curries, tandoori meats, and lamb vindaloo.

Without further ado, scope out Kiran’s lunch and dinner menus, then go ahead make your weekend reservation.
