Beaver’s Has Officially Opened Its Second Houston Outpost

Damn good food, now at two Houston locations

Beaver’s is one of those Houston gems that pretty much everyone can agree lives up to its motto of serving damn good food. As of yesterday, you’ll soon have two locations to enjoy your mac & cheese and smoked meats.

Announced via Beaver’s Facebook page, the outpost at 6025 Westheimer is officially open for dinner service. The expansion has been in the works since January, and the massive, 40,000 square foot space will now serve as the fledgling chain’s flagship location. The new location will offer four different dining experiences, including The Beaver Den, an adults-only lounge that will be open after hours.

You’ll also find the Backyard, a giant outdoor space with grass turf, picnic tables, and a bar made from a 1950s Spartan trailer. The Beaver Barn will serve as a party or event space, and is fitted with garage doors that open up to a view of the Backyard.

Beaver’s officially kicked open the doors on January 2, and is currently only open for dinner starting at 5 p.m. The restaurant plans to add brunch service in the coming weeks, likely in February. In the meantime, just look out for the giant 16-foot beaver statue that shines like a beacon toward that delicious mac & cheese.
