In the coming months, Los Angeles-based chain Fatburger will make its way to Houston.

The chain is plotting its first expansion into Texas, with multiple locations planned for both the Dallas Fort Worth area and Houston, reports the Dallas Morning News. No set timeline was announced for its Houston expansion, but a local franchisee is expected to open “three to five” locations in the metroplex. A representative for the company told Eater Dallas that the chain is expecting to open its first location within the next six months.

Then, the company’s burgers will head to Houston. No locations have been announced for the first Houston outposts of Fatburger, which will be joined by sister brand Buffalo’s Express, a fast-casual chain known for its boneless buffalo wings. In the coming years, parent company Fat Brands has plans to open more than 50 “co-branded” locations of the restaurant in Texas and beyond.

Eater has reached out for more details on when Fatburger will make its Houston debut. Stay tuned for an update on the West Coast burger chain’s arrival.
