Continuing Houston’s poke bowl boom, Wiki Poki has officially made its debut in Chinatown’s Dun Huang Plaza.
The restaurant announced its arrival at 9889 Bellaire Boulevard in a Facebook post over the weekend, enticing diners with free poke bowls to come check out the city’s newest option for a bowl of rice, toppings, and raw fish. Like most other poke establishments in Houston, Wiki Poki brings customizable bowls that can be garnished with toppings like crab salad, avocado, kimchi, and nori.
Wiki Poke is just the latest in a slew of new poke-focused restaurants in Space City. This year alone, raw fish focused spots like Okome Don, SeaSide Poke, Moku Bar, and PokeWorks have opened in the city, among others. Considering that the trend doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, it’s unlikely that Wiki Poki will be the last new Houston restaurant focused on the dish.
Wiki Poki is now open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the weekdays. The doors stay open until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
