Laidback new bar and restaurant Cactus Cove quietly opened last week in what was once the Warehouse Bar & Chill space in the Timbergrove neighborhood. Cactus Cove is so new that one Facebook commenter noticed that the old Warehouse sign is still up.
This brings the total of restaurants from the Creek Group, the restaurant group behind Houston favorites like Onion Creek, to six outposts. Cactus Cove looks like it’s geared to game watches, judging from its 10 televisions, including a 120-inch projected screen. The bar will have 25 beers on draft and 100 beers total.
There’s no website as of yet, only a Facebook page, and no menu posted quite yet. Eater reached out to Cactus Cove for more info on the menu and will update this post as necessary. In the meantime, check out these photos of the space at 3333 W 11th St:

The Creek Group’s been busy this year. Earlier this spring, Piggy’s Kitchen & Bar opened in River Oaks, serving up pizzas, confit chicken wings, and raclette and bacon burgers. Now Piggy’s Kitchen & Bar isn’t the newest Creek Group venture on the block.
