Houston Rapper Bun B Could Be The World’s Next Food Star

Emcee Bun B, Houston native and one half of the legendary rap duo UGK, knows his way around the city's food scene — just check the list of his favorite Houston restaurants he shared with Eater last year. But forget that for a moment, because the man knows how to cook too.

Bun B’s tutorial video is racking up a lot of views on Facebook. He breaks down how to cook everything from oven-fried chicken, to oxtail, to chicken pot pie, with truly great commentary.

Here’s a sample cooking tip: “Dip that thing and flip that thing" to really dredge the chicken in flour. Bun B even keeps it interesting during the interludes while the food is cooking (just watch to see).

Maybe Bun B needs to go pro with this? Or at least start selling that jalapeño cornbread.
