Austin Export HandleBar Is Now Open on Washington Avenue

Austin export HandleBar is now open in Houston at 5219 Washington Avenue, just in time for New Year’s Eve. It’s been in business in Houston for about a week: the bar opened on Thursday, December 21, according to its website.

This place doesn’t seem to take itself too seriously: it’s tagline online is “Hey Houston, let's get weird” and an iconic photo of Tom Selleck is all over HandleBar Houston’s Facebook page.

Fun fact: The Austin HandleBar is the one of the first locations in Austin for a bitcoin ATM and was said to be the first bar to ever offer a bitcoin ATM. That was way back in 2014, way before bitcoin became the craze it is today.
