BCK: Kitchen & Cocktail Adventures, the new concept from the people behind the immensely popular Bosscat Kitchen & Libations, is giving diners a sneak peek into its new eatery before it officially opens next year.
The restaurant will preview the new concept during a Lights in the Heights Pop Up on Saturday, Dec. 9. There, BCK will have bar directors Matt Sharp and Crisia Araujo on hand to serve hot chocolate, bacon butter popcorn and other holiday-themed snacks in the space formerly occupied by Glass Wall Restaurant at 933 Studewood. The 3,000-square-foot eatery got a complete overhaul from Joshua Weisman of Construction Concepts, who implemented hand-stitched luggage shelving and bench seating wrapped in steel for the restaurant and bar that can accommodate 100 guests.
When it opens in January, BCK will offer “nostalgic American fare” representing the “diverse backgrounds and eclectic styles of the owners,” according to a press release, which means influences from right here in the States, as well as Italy and Vietnam. Sticking with the nostalgic theme, specialty cocktails promise to “take customers back to fonder, simpler times.” Bosscat was almost instantly popular when it launched in the Heights, however the restaurant promises that BCK’s menu will be “totally unique” from its big brother’s offerings.
Stay tuned for more information on an official opening date. BCK: Kitchen & Cocktail Adventures is expected to open in January 2018.
