Congratulations are in order to BabyCakes owner Amanda Cano, who took home a big win on a Food Network competition show this week — and now we have the opportunity to taste her winning cupcake.

Cano competed on Bakers vs. Fakers, a challenge that pits amateur bakers against pros with thousands of dollars on the line. The show is hosted by Cake Boss’s Buddy Valastro, who incidentally just opened an outpost of Carlo’s Bakery in Houston.

The BabyCakes owner is $10,000 richer after her win on the show, beating out bakers from Jersey City, Philadelphia, and St. Petersburg, Fl. But she had to overcome some crazy challenges to get there. First off, Cano made a brioche cinnamon apple butterscotch bread pudding for the “bread pudding + hard candy” stage. Then she aced the “cereal” round by making honey-crunch stuffed cupcakes with cornflakes. A risky move in the time allotted, but the mousse held up and it worked. The judges called her cupcake “astounding.”

That “Golden Ticket” cupcake will be available for sale from now through next week at the Pizza Shack locations in Montgomery and Willis. To see Cano in action, check out Cano’s Bakers vs. Fakers episode when it reruns on Food Network on March 5 at 9 p.m.
