Radio Host Rod Ryan Opens Outpost Of Lucky’s Pub In Katy

The popular Houston sports bar heads to the suburbs

After more than 20 years in the radio industry, Houston-based morning show host Rod Ryan is officially dipping his toe into the restaurant business.

Via the Rod Ryan Show’s official Facebook page, Ryan announced that he will open an outpost of Lucky’s Pub in Katy at 17754 Katy Fwy (near Barker Cypress and I-10) this week. The Katy location makes for the fourth Houston-area Lucky’s Pub, joining outposts in the Heights, Downtown Houston, and Cypress.

Lucky’s Pub West is set to open its doors on Thursday, March 9, and will host a grand opening party from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with free beer, bites, and wines. The new location will also be the new home of Ryan’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival, planned for later this month.
