Video Of Chair-Throwing Brawl At Bayou City Wings Goes Viral

Considering just how many people dine out in Houston restaurants every day, the city’s scene is peaceful for the most part. But earlier this week, an epic, chair-throwing brawl ensued at an area wings restaurant, and now, the video has gone viral.

On Wednesday, popular meme aggregator Shade Media uploaded video of a fight that occurred on Tuesday night at the Bayou City Wings outpost near Gulf Freeway and Fuqua. In the short video taken by a patron in the restaurant, unidentified people involved in the melee can be seen flinging chairs across the dining room, along with a series of WWE-style wrestling moves.

On Facebook, Shade Media’s video has racked up nearly 240,000 views. A representative for Bayou City Wings told KPRC Houston that that no serious injuries were inflicted during the fight, and that the group left before police could question anyone involved. Adding insult to injury, some of the amateur street fighters walked their tab after the brawl.

It’s still unclear what exactly sparked the now-viral confrontation.
