Night owls in Houston frequently find themselves taking refuge behind Katz’s neon sign for NY-style deli fare and absurd desserts around the clock. Now, folks in the suburbs won’t have to drive into the city when a post-midnight craving strikes.
Job postings to Craigslist indicate that Katz’s Deli and Bar is looking to staff a location that will take over the former Katz’s Express space at 19075 I-45 in The Woodlands. According to the post, the new outpost will offer a revamped “Brooklny-inspired” vibe designed by the group behind the look at Uchi and Shake Shack.
As far as the menu is concerned, Katz’s will serve up its menu of deli favorites and a full bar, along with new dinner options and breakfast served all day long. As Hello Woodlands reported, this is the first of as many as six new full-service Katz’s locations that are slated to open across Houston in the coming months.
The newly-revamped spot is expected to open on May 12.
