Antone’s Famous Po’ Boys Is Making Moves

New Kiosk, refreshed menu, new location to come...

No one could accuse Antone’s Famous Po’ Boys of resting on its laurels right now — the restaurant has three major news updates for us all.

First of all: Antone’s also has big news for hungry downtown workers — they’ve just opened a kiosk downtown, open all the working week long (Mon-Fri), from 10a.m. to 3p.m. The new grab-and-go spot is located in the Downtown Houston Tunnel System, right beneath Two Shell Pizza, at 811 Louisiana St., Suit M130A. Kiosk offerings include the four classic po’ boys, homemade sides and weekly specials.

Secondly, Antone’s is giving its menu something of a spring clean, adding a bunch of new items to the menus at its two standalone restaurants. In addition to new rotating specials, there’s a slew of new things on the permanent menu, including beef brisket, a cubano, a pulled pork sandwich, a vegetarian gumbo and a fried chicken po’ boy.

And finally: there will almost definitely be another brick-and-mortar Antone’s coming soon, downtown. More details on the exact location to come.
