Nearly two years in the making, Jamie Zelko is ready finally ready to kick open the doors at The Ivy & James, her brand new restaurant at Evelyn’s Park.

Originally expected to arrive at the beginning of May, the breezy new spot has officially opened for lunch and takeaway service. This weekend, The Ivy & James will add breakfast, which will be served seven days a week. "It is so wonderful to finally be open," said Zelko in a statement. "After two long years of building, and too many delays."

The prix-fixe dinners that Zelko announced earlier this year haven’t started just but Zelko says that they’ll begin within the next four to six weeks. In the meantime, diners will be able to pre-order picnic baskets stuffed with sandwiches, salads, and other grab-and-go options that can be enjoyed in the park, perhaps under the giant trees that line the new beer garden at Evelyn’s Park.

The Ivy & James is currently open for lunch and picnic takeaway from 11 a.m. until “twilight,” which translates to around 8 p.m. Breakfast will launch on May 20, and will be served from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
